We continued with the Ferring Philosophy of “People come first at Ferring ” which is not only a way of life for Ferring as organization but it is also a very strong statement for the world outside to believe what as organization we stand for. Ferring has always looked at focusing & helping people live better life and now we would want this focus to come through our CSR interventions.
To drive the above perspective, we partnered with “GreenYatra” a leading environment NGO of India as our external CSR partner for our project. In this CSR intervention we have focused on protection, conservation and betterment of Environment, Mother Nature and Humanity.

Our objective for the interventions has been to –

• Create a habitable GREEN Earth and a better world for the present and future generations ,
• Bring the focus back to the value and importance of environment,
• Nature protection, conservation and work towards a sustainable green world

3450 saplings were planted at our Hyderabad RND site Genome Valley under Miyawaki plantation method. The intervention was Inaugurated by the IT Minister of Telangana state Mr. K T Rama Rao. The plantation was planned and executed in 6 days with great collaboration between our Team & NGO partner Green Yatra.

Our 3450 saplings which were planted  will provide following benefits once forest is fully developed in next 5 years.

Absorption of Carbon dioxide – 72,624 kg/ year.
Absorption of Sulphur dioxide- 4,505 kg/Year.
Absorption of Nitrogen dioxide – 13,736 kg/year.
Absorption of Carbon monoxide – 748kg/year.
2000 trees can capture up to 1,778,489 liters of rainwater/ year.
Oxygen released per day for 1,360 people/day.
Providing Air-conditioned effect to over 34,000 room, for 40 hours
